What was originally a weekly radio serial for children extremely popular on A.I.R.'s 'Bal Durbar', was adapted to short story form for young readers. The protagonist, of the same name, his world of family, friends, hobbies, school seen through his eyes, his typical idiosyncracies, adventures etc. have earned him a place as a memorable character in childrens' literature. The book was later adapted to a television serial which was also very popular.
